Trinity Pool Cages and Home Exteriors

In Trinity's master-planned communities, screen enclosures (pool cages) are nearly universal — and they're one of the most visible exterior features of any home. The problem is that fiberglass screen mesh is a perfect trap for pollen, spores, dust, and fine debris, and the aluminum framing oxidizes under UV exposure and humidity to develop a chalky white film. From the street, a dirty pool cage makes an otherwise pristine home look neglected. And from inside the enclosure, grimy screens obscure the outdoor view you paid for.

Most pressure washers take a wand to pool cage screens and call it done. The problem is that direct high-pressure contact tears or distorts the mesh, loosens screen spline, and can dent or score aluminum frames. I use a low-pressure soft wash system specifically dialed in for screen enclosures — the right volume and dilution to penetrate biofilm and oxidation without physical stress on the material. Both the inside and outside of every screen panel get treated, and the aluminum frame gets the same careful attention.

Trinity homes also present a premium stucco cleaning opportunity. The newer, smooth-coat stucco finish common in communities like Fox Wood and Longleaf is actually more susceptible to biological staining than older textured finishes, because the smooth surface doesn't shed water as readily. A soft wash treatment annually keeps these facades looking sharp and prevents the orange and green staining that sets into stucco if ignored for 2–3 seasons.
